In Tenzo, we know how important it is for restaurateurs to have access to their data on the go - to proactively give you more insights and help you understand priority actions you need to take, we're proud to announce the release of our Alerts feature.
How do Alerts work
Alerts allow you to receive emails or mobile notifications about the KPIs you care about the most. They can be created using any Tenzo card. Setting up an alert will tell you when any of the KPIs included in the card go above or below a certain threshold that you can choose to set.
Some Alert Examples
1. Inventory Module: Price Change
This alert will allow you to be alerted if there is a change in the purchase price of an inventory item which would, for example, have moved your total bill over the last 14 days by more than £100.
2. Labour Module: Planned Labour Cost as % of Forecasted Sales
If you have both the Labour and Forecasting module, this will be especially useful to control your CoL%. You can set the threshold that best fits your objectives, e.g. 30%. You will then be alerted whenever your Planned Labour Cost goes above 30% of your Forecasted Sales.
3. Sales Module: Discounts as % of Sales
This can alert you when Discounts represent a % of Sales that is higher than the threshold you set.
4. Forecasting Module: Admin Dashboard
We have a set of Alerts for forecasting that can be added to our new Forecasting Admin Dashboard, where we can alert you of things such as:
- When MAPE (error) goes above a certain threshold;
- When Managers have not adjusted at all the original Tenzo forecast; and
- When Managers have not submitted forecast for next week.
5. Social: New Reviews
Social Alerts were the first alert we created - they will pop up on the top panel of Tenzo website or mobile App whenever your business gets a new review! You can read more about them in this article.
How do I set up an Alert
If you're interested in setting up an Alert then please contact your CSM to discuss this - please note that Alerts are only available for customers with four or more locations.
