What's the difference between Order Type and Revenue Center?

What breakdowns are available?

You can not only see your top-level sales per location, but also a breakdown into: Division, Category, Item, Order Type, Revenue Center. If you want to know more about Divisions and Categories, please read this article.

What's Order Type?

Order Type regards the way your guests have eaten their meal; it tells you whether it was eat-in, takeaway, or delivery:

What's Revenue Center?

Revenue Center tells you in what POS location was the ticket registered. In this example, we have three different POS locations:

What's the difference between Order Type and Revenue Center?

To understand the difference, let's think of an example:

Person A wants to eat a takeaway meal; so the Order Type will be Takeaway.

However this order could be registered in the POS location at the Main Bar, or at the Coffee Bar, or at the Outside Terrace, and this will be the Revenue Center.

Conversely, from the Main Bar we could order anything from Eat-In to Takeaway to Deliveroo.
