Changing Metric Formatter

Within the Tenzo Card Creator,  for any metric that you would like to be displayed as either a Row, Column, or Value, you can, and in some instances should, change the format of the data to make it easier to interpret.

Below us a list of all the possible formats that are available and a brief explanation why it may be in your interest to do so. 

The reason that you may choose to update your format could be any one of the following items listed below, but not limited to it: 

• The need for the CSV export to have a specific revenue format that does not include commas
• Needing to not have the currency sign in front of revenue amounts for easier exporting 
• For displaying calculated columns that need to show a percentage rather than a decimal, as well as showing whether it needs to be red or green depending on if it is positive or negative, or a reversed version of it (e.g. in the context of labour cost % going down, it’s a good thing to have it be negative)  
• For having the right/utmost compatible and preferred date format for a date field
