Custom Reserved Guests and Spend per Reserved Guests Cards

If you have the reservation module in Tenzo and would prefer to use guests counts and spend per guest calculations using the numbers out your reservation tool instead of the guest counts from your POS system, then you can make custom cards that do just that. 

First you will need to make sure you utilise one of the following views on the card view selection screen: 

If you want to calculate SPG it will need to be either View 261 or 212. If you need to break down spend per guest by day parts orby hour, then only view 261 will work. 

You will need to ensure you are using the “Status” field as a default filter [Default filter article link] with the “In” parameter for “Complete,Incomplete”. This ensures only completed covers are counted for days in the past, and for any future date analysis the incomplete ones. 

The metric field that you will want to use to view the number of reserved guests is “Reserved Guests”:

You will need to ensure that you use it instead of the “Guests” field in any calculated fields within this card to get a reserved SPG calculation or Week on Week analysis.
