We’ve been working hard to create short yet informative video tutorials that highlight the capabilities of our product for new joiners to the Tenzo platform or simply a good reference point for all our users!
We always welcome any feedback, so drop us a message to support@gotenzo.com on your thoughts and if there is specific content you would like to see.
Let’s jump into our content!
Overview of Tenzo
We kick off our starter pack with our customer success member, Maddie, going through the key features of Tenzo!
In this video, Maddie will guide you through basic Tenzo navigation. From modules to dashboards, and user settings to business KPIs!
Keep in mind when accessing your dashboards, you can click any of our cards to explore further.
Sales Module
Now let’s jump into our sales module with Maria!
The sales module side menu is divided into three sections;
- Sales = what you sold.
You can then drill down > locations > select a location to view your menu hierarchy.
In sales you can also view your order type, to see where your orders are coming from, e.g deliveroo.
Revenue centre is the physical location of the till, e.g main bar.
- Operations = when you sold it.
Metrics available include day of week, day part, hour so you understand when you are performing your best and where you can improve.
- Employees = who sold it.
You can then view the metrics mentioned above through employees.
Labour Module
Now it’s time for the Labour Module with Crystal!
The labour module side menu is divided into; area, location, house part, role and hour. These are supported by some, but not all labour tools! For more information on what your labour tool can support, please head to this section of our help centre.
When using the snapshot tab, you will be able to select a couple different metrics including Actual vs Planned Cost.
In Roles and House Parts similarly, you can compare roles through different metrics, e.g Actual Hours vs Cost per Hour.
In Hour, you'll be able to see your metrics broken down by, you guessed it, by hour!
Inventory Module
Now we’re going through the inventory module with Yurii!
Similarly to Sales and Labour, we have the drill down option of location.
On the snapshot view you're able to view your purchases by location, what they represent as a percentage of sales.
Your actual vs theoretical usage, waste as a percentage of purchases and as a percentage of sales as well as your recorded and unrecorded waste. These are supported by some, but not all inventory tools! For more information on what your labour tool can support, please head to this section of our help centre.
You're able to zoom in on the data and view it by category and by item with all the same metrics as mentioned above.
Finally, we have inventory by Vendor. You can only see purchases wasted as a percentage of purchases.
Social Module
We pull in social reviews from Google My Business, Facebook, TripAdvisor and Yelp.
Our social module includes three main sections. Activity, Source and Location.
- Activity
Here, you can see all your reviews for a selected period, including the average score during that period.
- Source
Source will show you the total reviews and average rating you have from each social platform.
- Location
Here you will see the total reviews and average rating per location. You can select by different dates if you prefer as well.
Forecasting Module
Now it’s time for our forecasting module!
If you've got areas set up on your account, you'll have the option to see sales by area, otherwise you'll go straight down into sales by location.
You’ll see last year's sales, last 7 days sales and what the Tenzo AI forecast is predicting.
Tenzo requires general managers or someone in head office to go through and approve the forecast. Just a reminder, if your general managers only have access to say the Birmingham site or the Manchester site, those are the only sites that they'll be able to approve.
It's important to make sure that you make adjustments so our AI learns your sales patterns, so for instance, if you are having large events and it's put into the calendar ahead of time it's actually going to already factor that into the forecast rather than you having to do it manually.
Tenzo Logbooks
Let’s talk about our popular feature, Logbooks with Penny!
The Tenzo logbook is a free feature that comes with your Tenzo account.
It enables a user to write a description of their trading day and for other users to view that description. It pairs the qualitative data with the quantitative!
To access the logbook, click on the post-it note on the top right-hand corner of your Tenzo account. Here you can create a new logbook entry and see other logbook submissions that have already been entered by other users. You can access logbooks on web app or mobile!
You can receive your logs with your daily email.
It's possible to create a different template for each location or you can have one template for your business.
If you like inspiration for your log templates then check out the help centre. Or if you know what you'd like to have for your template contact your custom success manager.
Tenzo Calendars
And finally, we have our Calendar Management feature. Calendars are used to inform all staff around events that are occurring across the business.
Events that are recorded in the Tenzo calendars, appear as adjustment reasons for either future or past dates in our forecasting module.
You can view your calendar menu through the admin section. You can add an event by clicking on the date for which you'd like to add it.
What you're also able to do is create new calendars if you have events that will affect multiple locations. So if you click manage calendars, you could select to add a new calendar.
If you have any questions or want to go in-depth with any of these features, contact your Customer Success Manager, we will be happy to help.
